Institute has a tie up with a well known sports complex to train it’s students for swimming and boys are regularly taken to sports complex to train them in swimming.

The faculty team comprises of Senior Master Marines and Chief engineers with wide range of expertise in marine industry at sea and ashore who use one  of the most innovative and practical oriented methods in industry to train a young lad to become professional sea farer.

SHIP AND PORT VISITS / PRACTICAL TRAINING

The institute organizes maximum numbers of ship visits/boat rides to students to give more practical training. Students have been taken to major ports like Chennai , Ennore and karaikaal for ship visits and a variety of ships like tankers and bulk carriers. Curriculum is explained with the help of practical examples.
